Well, I'm sorry to say I took a couple days off. I pulled something in my upper back/shoulder area that was very painful but luckily it only took 3 days to feel relatively normal again. I got up to day 23. =(
I really wanted to say that I got through the whole 30 days, but oh well.
As soon as I felt better I went straight to Level 3. I had a hard time with the push-up movements because of my back and shoulder but I got through it okay. Man, those jumping moves though, whew.....that takes a lot of strength to really do it right.
I haven't really heard from everyone else lately. What day are you on? Have you taken some days off?
I can't believe you used 5 lb weights through the whole Level 2!! That's awesome. I can only use them on 2 of the strength moves. I went back to Level 1 one day and used 5 lb throughout it... UGH! It's been 2 days since I've done that and I'm still sore! Today will be my day 12, and since I started this round at Level 2, I'm not sure when I should move to Level 3... any suggestions?

ReplyDeleteI'm over my 30 days and have been switching it up between levels. When I do Level 1, I use 5lbs weights and follow Natalie (the advanced one). I still get a great workout from Level. Those side lunges always make my butt sore for a couple of days.
Level 2 is my favorite. I think it hits all those parts that you normally wouldn't hit by doing a typical workout. I probably do Level 2 the most.
I have a hard time with Level 3. My knees and wrists do not agree with some of her moves, so I use Level 3 the least. The jumping is a great Cardio workout though, and I think I'm going to try for one of her Cardio DVD's. I'll let you know how that goes. =)
I end up eating twice in the morning. I have to eat something small to get me through the workout. I usually have a banana, peanut-butter and toast, or Shredded Wheat (without the milk). I can't have anything too liquidy or I'll be sick. I have the protein drink afterward. I don't know about you but I'm always hungry again afterwards. =) Hope that helps!
